FNT-9 Knit: same quality and two new colors review and published by bici.pro – Stefano Masi

FLR’s signature shoes, the FNT-9 Knit, are a concentration of different technologies, all serving one purpose: the pursuit of the best performance on the bike. The FNT-9 Knit is a product capable of establishing itself and being appreciated even by the best cyclists in the world, those who race in the WorldTour. The recognition of how high-performance, comfortable, and lightweight these shoes are has come thanks to the results achieved in the top division of world cycling. Jay Vine wore the FNT-9 Knit and won two stages of the Vuelta España

Even lighter

Collaboration with some of the best athletes in the WorldTour category has led to constant improvement and the search for increasingly high-performance technologies. For the upper, FLR Shoes has chosen to use a three-layer construction of XD-Knit nylon thread, a solution capable of providing resistance but at the same time great breathability. In high-level cycling, the latter is a fundamental feature in order to always be able to express the maximum in every situation.

Even when temperatures get scorching, your foot will always find the right balance between temperature and power inside the FNT-9 Knit. Even during the longest climbs, when speeds drop, air exchange is guaranteed.

Power to the max

To compete in the WorldTour and win, every watt a cyclist releases must be transferred to the ground. Power flows from the legs to the pedals and then back to the wheels, a simple but delicate mechanism. Each step must be performed flawlessly so as not to waste a single drop of energy.

The R500 Road carbon sole makes a significant contribution, which, combined with the cushioned insole, ensures maximum power transfer. Blood flow is also one of the parameters to consider, and the construction of the FNT-9 Knit reduces hot spots on the foot and increases comfort.

The main new feature for the FNT-9 Kint is the sole, which is available in two new colourways: Pure White and Midnight Gold.
